Large Orders
We welcome customers who seek whole-house lighting solutions. We suggest the client visit our companies on-line or stop by our store to borrow catalogs, talk with us, and see our inventory. We are also available by appointment.
Lampshade and Glassware Fitting
We carry a wide selection of lampshades and glassware. When searching for a replacement we ask the customer to kindly bring their lamp, and old or broken shade where possible, when visiting us. This will help us customize a new shade to the lamp.

About The Light Barn
The Light Barn was founded in 1979 and has been a trustworthy business providing lighting solutions to the Susquehanna Valley and beyond since opening. Our inventory includes ceiling lights, pendants, wall sconces, flush and semi-flush mounts, recessed and track lighting, outdoor lights, ceiling fans and a wide variety of bulbs and lighting parts.
Bring along your old lamp to find a new shade as we carry a diverse variety of shades to choose from. We can have them custom made in Pennsylvania as well. Show us your house plans to help us guide you through the lighting options. Knowing your room measurements and heights, as well as, pictures of your house or rooms etc…help us to serve you better.
The Light Barn has been in the Susquehanna Valley for over 45 years and is the largest lighting showroom in the area. We sell chandeliers, wall sconces, bath and vanity lighting, pendant and island lighting, table and floor lamps, tiffany’s, desk and piano lamps, picture lamps, outdoor lighting, lamp posts, lamp shades (custom made), glass shades, electrical lighting parts and offer lamp repair. Please note for lamp shade sizing it is best to bring the lamp along. We also sell a wide variety of bulbs. We deal with several American companies creating both indoor and outdoor lighting.
